Disparities along the lines of race, gender, class, etc. are often structural, and they can be so "baked-in" to the status quo that they are functionally invisible. This is the exact type of problem solved by W.E.B. DuBois's fictional Megascope, and it is the exact type of work we as a company want to be doing.
